Education programs

The International Educational Cultural Association is an organization changing people’s lives. It creates an education gateway for ambitious professionals and talented youth who face challenges yet can or risk getting stuck in the learning process.

That is why the International Educational Cultural Association pays particular attention to the EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS, MASTER CLASSES AND TRAININGS. Their realization provides for a civilized integration into the cultural, educational and scientific environment of other countries, and international exchange at a professional level.

Based on this approach, a series of professional international seminars for journalists were held in the USA, Canada, and Great Britain.

These educational programs were realized in cooperation with the local institutes of journalism and unions of journalists, renowned publishing houses and media corporations which included London Metropolitan University, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Britain’s publishers The Guardian and Link Humans, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), MEEST MEDIA CORPORATION, one of the biggest Toronto’s dailies Toronto Star, The National Press Club and Media Management Center at Northwestern University in the USA, American newspapers Daily Herald, The Washington Post etc.

2008 – Educational program for Ukrainian journalists in CANADA. The training was attended by representatives of 14 leading Ukrainian media companies.

In recent years, the number of Ukrainian students participating in professional educational programs of the International Educational Cultural Association tends to increase. In 2013, the Institute of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv initiated the UK-based media training programs to be held in London. The topic of the first educational seminar and training was “Cutting-edge technologies in journalism development. Forms and methods used by mass media in conveying social issues in the UK”. The training session was a great opportunity for the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv to work together with the London Metropolitan University, which cooperation was facilitated by the Association.

A series of educational programs in the field of architecture, construction and design with the involvement of the American Institute of Architects, and programs for plastic surgeons with the participation of the International Association of Plastic Surgeons has been implemented. The main goal of these programs was to establish professional contacts with international associations operating across the USA and other countries worldwide, and to exchange the present-day professional experiences.

In August 2015, the UK Branch International Educational Cultural Company, jointly with the Embassy of Ukraine in London, hosted the International Educational Seminar “Mission of Ukraine in the Modern World. Artistic component”.

In July 2018, the INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL CULTURAL ASSOCIATION launched a multi-year educational program of the “HARMONY” MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERACY SCHOOL together with the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio and Media Professionals and “Moloda Hvardiya” Ukrainian Children’s Center with the support of the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine. The Media School turned out to be a truly unique episode during the International Competition and Festival of Children’s Creativity “We are all your children, Ukraine!” and welcomed the Contest competitors and winners as its new students.

In 2019, the International Educational Cultural Association initiated a series of art education programs and MASTER CLASSES for voice teachers from educational institutions and heads of Ukrainian artist collectives. During February 18-19, 2020 the International Educational Cultural Association held MASTER CLASSES of PROFESSOR TEIMURAZ GUGUSHVILI, the Head of the Classical Singing Department of the Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire, People’s Artist of Georgia, winner of the Georgia State Prize, Professor Emeritus of the UNESCO’S Associated Center. The event was a part of the CULTURAL and HUMANITARIAN COOPERATION PROGRAM between Ukraine and Georgia with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, the Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine and the Institute of Arts of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The initiative to hold master classes was raised during the meeting at the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia on October 21, 2019 and belonged to Oleg MARTSYNKIVSKYI, the art program participant, a co-founder of the International Educational Cultural Association and holder of the titles of the People’s Artist of Ukraine, and of the Professor of the Classical and Pop Singing Department of the Institute of Arts of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

TEIMURAZ GUGUSHVILI is one of the most famous opera singers of our time. He belongs to a galaxy of masters who greatly enriched the national and world vocal school. The blooming career of Teimuraz Gugushvili embraces over 30 TENOR PARTS OF THE CLASSICAL OPERA REPERTOIRE.

The atmosphere in the crowded concert halls was exceptionally warm, creative and professional. The ARTIST and LECTURER Teimuraz Gugushvili gave to the audience his VALUABLE ADVICE on the ways of musical work comprehension and sound formation particulars. The MAESTRO told interesting stories from his professional life and presented his SOLO GIFT. He performed the Canio aria from R. Leoncavallo’s opera PAGLIACCI and the Cavaradossi aria from the first act of the TOSCA opera by J. Puccini. Everyone present gained unforgettable experience from the personal acquaintance with the renowned SINGER.

Teimuraz Gugushvili had exciting MEETINGS which stirred up memories of joint performance throughout the world with UKRAINIAN OPERA MASTERS and folk artists Oleksandr VOSTRIAKOV, Maria STEFYUK, Angelina SHVACHKA, the Taras Shevchenko National Prize Laureate, and a great conductor Victor PLOSKINA. Another creative meeting was with the listeners of UKRAINIAN RADIO
